Battery energy storage systems (BESS) are becoming increasingly important for system integration of renewable energy into the power grid. At the same time, storage system costs have recently decreased considerably.

With large PV system outputs and low self-consumption rates, BESS represent a useful and economically viable option for optimising on-site energy usage and PV system operation in a grid-friendly way. Which is why we’re a fan.
